The West Virginia Economic Development Authority is a public corporation and government instrumentality that was created to improve and enhance the economic well being of the state.  They provide take-out financing on the acquisition of land, building, and equipment for new projects and business expansions.  Collateral is required.  WVEDA participation will not exceed 45 percent.  The interest rate is fixed and is calculated based on market conditions, job creation and wage packages.  They meet the third Thursday of each month.  Other loan programs are available.
