The Marion County Development Authority (MCDA) is a local non-profit authority that operates a revolving loan pool.  Loans are considered for businesses or non-profit organizations that are creating or retaining jobs.  MCDA will not be the sole source of funding.  Collateral is required and usually a personal guaranty.  Loans can be for up to $100,000 but are typically around $25,000.  Terms are 4% interest for 7 years.  MCDA meets the second Wednesday of February, April, June, August, October, and December.  Applications should be received at least 10 days before the meeting.  Call 304-333-6732 to receive loan guidelines and an application.
